After the government refused to renew his visa, Roman Abramovich is planning to leave Chelsea. To return to the UK, the Russian tycoon should explain how he acquired his fortune. Tim Rolles, head of Chelsea, told Telegraph that Abramovich is keen to continue owning the English club, but that is something that can change if he does not feel welcome in England.
"Obviously leaving the club is something that has already passed from his mind. But we hope the government will not confuse the political situation with sport. We have to play a World Cup in Russia, we will not create even more hostility", he explained.
